School is still in session for Thrive Elementary. We are not impacted by the strike. October 6-10 is Read in Week. Friday, October 10 is a PD Day. Grades 1-6 will be going to Fit Set Ninja and kindergarten will be staying home.

We would like to inform you that although teachers are scheduled to begin strike action on Monday, October 6, 2025, Thrive Elementary School will not be impacted. School will continue as usual, and we look forward to welcoming students as scheduled.

Grade 6s will be going to the Legislature all week. Please be aware that we will be open on September 30th- Truth and Reconciliation Day. Buses will run at their regular times.

Please remember that the Grade 4-6 Cross Country Team will be running at Laurier Park on September 24th. Make sure to check you emails from Mr. Will about any updates.

Please take a moment to read the snapshot of our school as well as the Thrive Elementary Concept Model, Thrive Student Model Attributes and QICS Steps to STEM and building a strong partnership with families. Please read and return the signed partnership agreement for each of your children by September 30th.

Here is this week's updates and important information. Please remember that there is a field-trip to Sassy G's Adventure Farm on Friday, September 19th. This is only for grade 1-6 students who have returned their permission forms at the beginning of the week. Kindergarten students will be staying at home.

Meet the Staff and Family Dinner will take place at Thrive Elementary on Thursday, September 18th, from 4:30PM-6:00PM. We are excited to see everyone there and get to know our new Thrive Families! If you are not in attendance by 5:15PM, your child will be put to the bus to go home.

Here is the Week at a Glance for September 2-5, 2025. Kindergarten will have their staggered entry until Friday, September 5 where ALL kindergarten students will attend together.

It's almost time to get back in the groove of things! Waking up early, school and routines! Our first day of classes is Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Kindergarten parents: We are having a staggered start, so please check your emails for the date and time you are to arrive!

Another month almost finished and we are almost ready to close out this school year! Thank you to students, staff and parents for this great school community! Below is our June Newsletter, with some important information.

Thrive Elementary will be closed from May 16-19. We will see everyone back a school on Tuesday, May 20.
