This is just a reminder that Thrive Elementary will be closed on Monday, October 12. We will see everyone back at school on Tuesday, October 13.

📢Week at a Glance for October 5-9: Tuesday is Picture Day! If you have questions, please contact Rona at Pause Photography at 780-235-7955 or email at: schools@pausephoto.ca October 7 is Early Dismissal. The buses will run at the regular times. Thursday, October 8 is Grade 6 immunizations. We will be closed for Thanksgiving on October 12. October 22 and 23 are PD Days and will also be closed for students.

📢Our Cross Country Team Race will be on Tuesday, September 29 @ Terwillegar Park, from 3PM-630PM. Parents, please remember that students who are not picked up from Terwillegar Park, will be brought back to Thrive to be picked up. Wednesday, September 30 is Orange Shirt Day, and our school will be open.

📢Week at a Glance for September 21-25: Cross Country Running Practice will be taking place on Tuesday and Thursday, from 3:15PM-4PM. Thursday, September 24 is Meet the Staff and Family Dinner from 4:30PM-6PM. 📢Parents, please remember that once you pick up your children for dinner, they must go home with you. They are not to return to Thrive Time. If parents are not picking up their children to take them to the Family Dinner, students will take the bus home at the regular time. Friday, September 25 is a PD Day, and the school will be closed to students.

📢Week at a Glance for September 14-18: Cross Country Running Club will be having their practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15PM-4PM. 👟 Their race day will be September 29 @ Terwillegar Park. This week jam packed full of activities and events! Tuesday is Crochet Club with Miss Liz and ethe start of Puppet Tree House. Thursday, May 28th is the busiest day at Thrive- 9AM-11AM: Grades 5 and 6s to Canada-Wide Science Fair (Expo Centre) 3PM: Puppet Tree House Showcase (parents are invited to attend) 430PM-6PM:Family Dinner 5-6PM: Parents and their child(ren) soccer game! ⚽

We hope everyone enjoyed this sunny long weekend! 🌞 Tuesday at lunch recess, Miss Liz will be having Crochet Club. Wednesday is Outdoor Classroom Day! 🐞🌳 Please wear a hat! May 22 is SPIRIT Day, please wear your Thrive Gear! The Grade 6s will be doing their ELA Part A PAT from 9-11AM. 2PM is our Assembly!

Crochet Club with Miss Liz is happening over lunch recess on Tuesday. Friday, May 15 is a day in lieu, school will be closed. Monday, May 18 is Victoria Day and the school will be closed. Enjoy this upcoming long weekend!

We have a busy week ahead of us! Monday, the Grade 3 class will have a virtual fieldtrip to the Royal Tyrrell Museum.🦖 Tuesday at lunch will be crochet club with Miss Liz. Wednesday, May 6 is Hats on for Mental Health. 🧢 Our badminton team game will also take place at 4PM @ MAC. 🏸 May 8 is the Grade 3 fieldtrip to John Walter Museum. Please dress for the everchanging Alberta weather! ☀🌧

Intramurals and crochet club are happening on Tuesday, April 28 over lunch recess. Please dress for the ever changing Alberta weather as we will be going outside in the snow, rain and sunshine! 🌞

There will be no school for kindergarten students on April 24th. Grades 1-6 with returned field-trip forms will be going to AMAZONE for the whole day. Buses will run at the regular times in the AM and PM.

Wednesday, April 22- Grades 5 and 6s will be at the Earth Day River Valley Stewardship fieldtrip. Family Dinner is on April 23 from 430PM-6PM. EPL will also be there to pass on information about their summer program. Friday, April 24 is a PD Day with students. Grades 1-6 will be on a fieldtrip and kindergarten students are to stay home.
